The mission of Les Amies (the Friends) of Operation Lift Up (OLU) is to enhance and support OLU’s overall mission. We will partner with African leaders, primarily women, to realize this vision. By listening intentionally to their needs and desires and engaging in research to discover the best practices, we will strive to maintain and nurture successful projects that empower women and their communities.
Our commitment is to advance the Kingdom of God by encouraging and inspiring Togolese people, especially women, through financial sponsorship of worthy goals.

We will do this through:
1. School gardens. Understanding the importance of good nutrition on physical health and mental well-being, LA-OLU will emphasize the maintenance of School/Community gardens. These gardens will supplement the school lunch program and serve as a community demonstration garden, teaching best management principles

1. School gardens. Understanding the importance of good nutrition on physical health and mental well-being, LA-OLU will emphasize the maintenance of School/Community gardens. These gardens will supplement the school lunch program and serve as a community demonstration garden, teaching best management principles and the benefits of high-density nutritional foods.
2. Benevolent Projects. LA-OLU seeks to find projects that will improve the lives of African people and direct them to Jesus Christ.
3. Incentive projects. By providing tokens of appreciation, we will encourage our partnering friends, many of whom live in abject poverty.
4. Scholarships. Scholarships will be considered on a case-by-case basis for theological training or other pertinent endeavors, such as group training or spiritual retreats.
